Senior Corporate Solicitor

Overview

In this role you will lead high-profile corporate work within a growing team at a respected law firm. You will handle the full corporate spectrum, including M&A, JVs, restructurings and private equity, while shaping the team’s direction. You’ll mentor junior lawyers, collaborate across the firm, and strengthen client relationships, with a clear pathway to partnership for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Lead on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and private equity transactions
• Manage and deliver high-quality corporate work for a notable client base
• Lead, develop and grow the established team in alignment with practice goals
• Mentor junior lawyers and collaborate with colleagues across the firm
• Leverage referrals to expand the practice and strengthen client relationships
• Play a central role in shaping department strategy and long-term success
• Work closely with cross-functional teams on strategic client initiatives
• Seek opportunities that contribute to partnership progression

Key requirements

• 4+ PQE in corporate law
• Proven track record in corporate matters, including M&A, JVs, restructurings and private equity
• Able to lead and manage a team and influence practice direction
• Strong client-relations and business development capabilities
