Sales Manager

Overview

As Sales Manager in Skelmersdale, you lead a small internal sales team while remaining actively involved in revenue generation. You coach and mentor four sales executives, ensuring targets are met and client relationships are strong. You’ll identify new business opportunities and contribute to sales strategy with management. This role combines team leadership with hands-on selling in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and mentor a team of four internal sales executives
• Coach team to improve performance, sales techniques and customer engagement
• Manage sales activity, KPIs and overall team performance
• Generate new business through warm inbound leads and proactive business development
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue and expand existing accounts
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement sales strategies
• Produce sales forecasts and performance reports

Key requirements

• Previous experience in a Sales Manager, Team Leader or Senior Sales role
• Proven track record of selling services rather than physical products
• Experience managing, coaching or mentoring a sales team
• Strong business development and account management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Proactive and results-driven approach
