Overview

As Head of Relationship Management you will shape SIX’s partner ecosystem across banks, broker-dealers and financial institutions in the UK and EU. You’ll lead a team to deepen strategic relationships and drive growth across post-trade services, including Clearing, Custody & Asset Servicing, Securities Finance and Trade Repositories. You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Operations, Risk and Compliance to tailor client strategies and unlock cross-sell opportunities. Represent SIX as a senior ambassador at industry forums and client events, fueling international expansion. This is a commercially minded leadership role with a strong focus on client experience and cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and expand strategic client relationships with banks and broker-dealers across the value chain
  • Identify and execute cross-selling and upselling opportunities with dedicated sales teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Business Development, Operations, Risk, Compliance) to address client needs and deploy new solutions
  • Coordinate with other business units to pursue cross-sell opportunities
  • Articulate and manage client account business plans, set targets, and respond to ad-hoc inquiries
  • Represent SIX in the market through networking events and forums

Key requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of Post-Trade relationship management experience in finance (B2B)
  • Team leadership experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of core business, markets, and client requirements
  • Structured leadership style for guiding a team and managing stakeholders
  • High customer orientation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
