Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • First level nursing qualification
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Appropriate entry level criteria for the university education programme including a minimum of 240 academic credits of which at least 120 are at Level 5 (Diploma in Higher Education).
  • Portfolio evidence of continual professional and academic development.
  • For those wishing to undertake the Post Graduate SCPHN qualification at level 7 – applicants should hold an appropriate degree.
  • Evidence of application to University- School Nursing Programme
  • Letter confirming line manager approval to apply for secondment to the SCPHN programme

Desirable criteria

  • Post-registration training
  • Mentorship qualification (or working towards the award)

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Must be a current BCHC employee and have been employed by the organisation for 12 months or more.
