Overview
In this HSE Manager role, you’ll lead the site’s safety, environmental, and sustainability agenda to elevate performance beyond compliance. You’ll partner with the General Manager and leadership to set strategy and translate it into tangible shop-floor improvements. Your focus on culture, coaching, and data-driven decisions will embed 5S and SPDQCE, drive root-cause problem solving, and advance ISO standards. This is an opportunity to shape a safer, more sustainable operations narrative across the site.

Responsibilities
- Define and drive HSE strategy for the site with a focus on safety, sustainability and continuous improvement
- Embed 5S and SPDQCE (Safety, People, Delivery, Quality, Cost and Environment) into daily operations through leadership and engagement
- Lead structured problem-solving to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence
- Champion environmental sustainability initiatives aligned with long-term business goals
- Develop site leaders to own HSE standards and accountability
- Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 management systems and pursue additional value-adding standards
Key requirements
- Demonstrated leadership in an HSE role within a manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
- Strong influencer capable of educating and coaching others in safety practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset
- Nebosh certified
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping
- Ability to translate strategy into practical site-level actions
