Overview
In this role you will provide strategic financial leadership to UNICEF UK’s executive leadership and board, shaping the organisation’s future business model and growth. You will oversee finance, risk, governance and facilities, while partnering across fundraising, marketing, partnerships and policy to unlock new income opportunities. You will drive planning, reporting and business-case development to support responsible, sustainable impact for children. This is a chance to influence high-level decisions and lead a high-performing team in a mission-driven organisation.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership and commercial insight to the CEO, Trustee Board and Executive Team
- Lead across Finance and the wider portfolio including risk, governance, legal and facilities
- Shape long-term growth strategy, including investment decisions, partnerships and new income opportunities
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting and business case development
- Collaborate with fundraising, marketing, partnerships, policy and digital to identify opportunities with high accountability
- Develop and lead a high-performing, commercially minded team
- Contribute to organisation-wide leadership, transformation and decision-making as an Executive Team member
Key requirements
- Qualified accountant with significant senior financial leadership experience in complex organisations
- Strong strategic capability and commercial acumen
- Track record of growing income, adapting and innovating
- Experience developing commercial ventures, partnerships or audience-led business models
