The Role
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant, you’ll provide additional support to the home when required, helping to cover periods such as holidays, sickness and other staffing needs.
When working a shift, you’ll take a senior role within the care team, helping to ensure exceptional, person-centred care is delivered.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the care team during your shifts
- Administering medication safely
- Updating and reviewing care plans
- Supporting, coaching and mentoring colleagues
- Completing staff supervisions and return-to-work discussions where required
- Ensuring residents receive outstanding care in a safe, welcoming environment
- Providing reliable and flexible cover to support the needs of the home
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or an experienced Care Assistant ready for the next step
- NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Medication administration experience
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to pick up shifts based on the needs of the home
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care
