MEP Quantity Surveyor – Commercial – London

Overview

In this role you will oversee the commercial performance of MEP packages for a leading subcontractor in London. You will work within the Commercial Development team to manage budgets, procure subcontracts, and drive cost control across major projects in data centres, pharmaceuticals, and heavy industrial schemes. You’ll coordinate with project teams and clients to support informed commercial decisions and deliver value. This is an opportunity to shape financial outcomes on high‑profile MEP projects.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of MEP packages (cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow)
• Subcontract & procurement management (tender analysis, contract administration, valuations, payments)
• Cost control & change management (monitoring costs, variations, cost reporting)
• Valuations, reporting & final accounts (interim valuations, cost reports, final accounts)
• Client & stakeholder liaison (support decision-making, resolve issues)

Key requirements

• Degree-level qualification in Quantity surveying, MEP Engineering or similar
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role on construction projects
• Based within commutable distance of London
