R4 Advertising is building a different kind of advertising business. Our Trade. Plan. Activate. model challenges the established economics of media through transparent trading, intelligent planning and returning the commercial value generated through media to our clients.

The proposition is working. We are winning major clients, expanding our London operation and building a business with serious national and international ambitions.

Now we need a Marketing Manager who can make sure the market knows it.

Working alongside our Marketing Director, Head of Brand and content creator, you will help build a marketing operation that gets R4 noticed, generates qualified demand and supports our continued growth.

You will manage a marketing budget exceeding £500,000 and take ownership of the campaigns, systems and daily activity behind the R4 brand.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering R4’s marketing strategy alongside out Head of Brand.

Building integrated campaigns that generate awareness, MQLs and commercial opportunities

Managing and optimising a marketing budget exceeding £500,000

Owning HubSpot campaigns, workflows, automation, lead scoring and reporting

Managing integrations between HubSpot, our website and wider marketing technology

Maintaining and improving website content, landing pages and conversion journeys

Working with new business to target priority brands and sectors

Coordinating output across brand, content and external partners

Turning our client work, campaign results, people and thinking into industry-leading content

Building R4 Labs into a platform that puts our clients and their campaigns at the heart of the industry

Managing our calendar across campaigns, content, PR, events and partnerships

Identifying and coordinating speaking and industry opportunities

Writing compelling agency, campaign and effectiveness award entries

Reporting on MQLs, pipeline contribution, conversion and return on investment

This is not a maintenance role. It is an opportunity to help build the marketing machine behind one of the industry’s most ambitious challenger brands.

Requirements

Strong working knowledge of HubSpot, including workflows, automation, lead management and reporting

Experience managing substantial marketing budgets with clear accountability

Evidence of generating qualified leads and contributing to commercial pipeline

A strong understanding of CAC, conversion, attribution and return on investment

Experience managing websites, landing pages and digital conversion journeys

The ability to turn a commercial proposition into sharp, relevant marketing

Excellent writing, presentation and public-speaking skills

Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge established thinking

Experience coordinating internal teams, agencies and external partners

Exceptional organisation, attention to detail and personal accountability

The ability to move confidently between strategy and hands-on execution

A degree or equivalent evidence of professional capability

Experience within advertising, media, technology or another ambitious B2B business would be valuable

We want a marketer with evidence, not simply enthusiasm. You should be able to show us what you built, what it cost, what it delivered and the role you personally played.

Salary of £45,000–£55,000, dependent on experience
