Relationship Director – Agriculture

Our client is looking for an experienced Agriculture Director to join a growing Agricultural Finance team, supporting farmers, landowners and rural businesses across the UK.

This is a remote-based role, with flexibility to work from home while regularly meeting customers and engaging with the agricultural community across your region.

The Role

• Manage and develop an established portfolio of agricultural customers.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with farmers, landowners and rural businesses.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Use your agricultural and commercial knowledge to identify opportunities and provide insight.
• Work with senior agricultural and wider business teams to deliver growth.
• Represent the organisation within the local agricultural community.
• Maintain a strong focus on risk, compliance and responsible lending.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience within the UK agricultural sector.
• Background in agricultural finance, banking or a related environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong commercial, analytical and financial skills, including financial statement analysis and modelling.
• Good understanding of risk and compliance.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across your region.
