We are recruiting on behalf of a wonderful residential home that is looking for experienced, friendly agency Care Assistants to join their team for night shifts. The home supports elderly residents living with various age-related illnesses, specializing in different levels of dementia care.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Nighttime Support: Responding quickly and kindly to residents’ needs throughout the night, providing high-quality personal care.
- Safety and Comfort: Carrying out regular observation checks and helping with resident repositioning according to their specific care plans.
- Mobility Assistance: Lending a hand with mobility when needed, including the safe use of hoists.
- Accurate Record Keeping: Making sure all night checks and fluid/care charts are filled out perfectly.
- Light Housekeeping: Helping out with domestic duties to keep the home clean, tidy, and running smoothly.
- Staying Compliant: Following all health and safety procedures to keep the residents and yourself safe.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant (experience with dementia care and hoists is a huge plus!).
- A reliable, self-motivated night owl who can stay sharp and focused during night hours.
- A warm, bubbly personality and a genuine passion for looking after others.
- Ready to jump in quickly with your training and compliance documents.

To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 12months or registered on the update service
- Up to date mandatory training certificates
- Full up-to-date CV
- A referenceable work history with at least 3 months of UK based care experience within a care or nursing home

You will be working from 21:00 to 07:00 on night required from Monday through to Sunday.
