Risk Manager – Infrastructure

Overview

In this role you will implement and drive an integrated risk management framework across a major capital programme. You work within the London infrastructure team on high-profile projects, shaping risk processes and investment planning. You will identify threats and opportunities, monitor risk exposure, and coordinate responses with contractors to keep the programme on track. Responsibilities

• Implement/integrate risk management framework across a capital programme
• Identify, assess and prioritise threats and opportunities within sub-programmes
• Maintain visibility of risk triggers to support risk cost profiling and budget drawdown
• Inform investment planning using risk data
• Record and monitor management responses with measurable outcomes
• Monitor overall risk exposure against remaining risk budget
• Advance completion of management responses to achieve target positions
• Collaborate with contractors to assess contractor-held and client-held risks
• Produce timely risk reports to communicate threat/opportunity status
• Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform contingency levels
• Demonstrate experience with tools such as PRA, @risk, Safran; familiarity with ARM, Predict, Tableau
• Proficient in qualitative and quantitative risk assessment within integrated risk processes on large programmes
• APM/IRM risk certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and commitment to innovative working methods

• Working understanding of an integrated risk management process on large programmes (risk, cost and schedule)
• Risk workshop facilitation
• Threat mitigation and opportunity exploitation
• Probabilistic modelling (@risk, PRA and P6 proficiency or equivalent)
• Proven risk delivery experience on major infrastructure projects/programmes
• APM/IRM risk certification preferred
