Overview

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent application of coding structures, planning standards, and risk-adjusted logic across schedule inputs
  • Govern schedule updates, baseline control, and reporting cycles; drive contributor compliance and data quality
  • Manage scenario modelling and impact assessments to support decision-making for major changes and emerging risks
  • Provide clear visibility from short-term lookaheads through to key programme milestones to enable proactive management of risks and opportunities
  • Develop reporting outputs that support planning across short, medium, and long-term horizons
  • Maintain a robust, integrated planning baseline to support confident decision-making
  • Improve alignment across stakeholders and contributors
  • Enhance ability to identify, mitigate, and manage delivery risks

Key requirements

  • Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development
  • Extensive experience in the successful planning of projects and programmes in the Energy/Utilities sector
  • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on
