Global Client Production Finance Lead

Overview

In this role you steer financial leadership for a defined client portfolio within Publicis Production, aiming to optimize revenue and profitability. You partner with senior client leaders and cross-functional teams to align finance with operational strategy and portfolio growth. You will oversee model and rate card development, forecasting, and client profitability initiatives, shaping commercial outcomes across engagements. This is a strategic, hands-on position that combines finance rigor with executive collaboration to enable scalable growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for an assigned client portfolio and act as the senior finance partner to Global Production Client Leads
• Lead model, fee, and rate card development and negotiations with client procurement
• Govern MSA and SOW terms and ensure ongoing contractual compliance
• Oversee revenue forecasting and recognition across the portfolio and present to senior leadership
• Manage quarterly CPR meetings and profitability improvement initiatives across the portfolio
• Drive process improvements, internal controls, and AI-enabled financial analysis
• Recruit, develop, and manage the Client Finance team; set priorities and provide coaching
• Coordinate with regional/local leadership on forecasts and performance against targets
• Support audits and responses, ensuring policy alignment and controls

Key requirements

• Significant progressive experience in finance with client/commercial finance in a complex organization
• Production or agency client finance experience preferred
• Proven track record leading and developing senior finance teams
• Strong commercial acumen with contract negotiations, fee structures, and rate cards
• Excellent strategic leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
• Ability to build executive-level relationships across finance and non-finance
• Proficiency with financial systems and analytical tools; familiarity with AI-enabled planning tools advantageous
• Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s or professional qualification preferred
