Overview

In this role you lead and develop a B2B SaaS sales team, coaching through complex opportunities and using data to improve performance. You’ll collaborate with marketing, customer success and product to maximise opportunities and share customer feedback. The role blends hands-on leadership with strategic thinking, and requires regular presence in the London office. You contribute to a growth-minded, inclusive culture and help people thrive while delivering strong sales results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Business Development Associates and Business Development Managers to achieve goals and drive sales results
  • Utilise pipeline data, activity metrics and forecasting to identify opportunities and support accurate planning
  • Support the full sales cycle from discovery and qualification through negotiation and closing
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer success and product teams to maximise commercial opportunities and capture feedback
  • Coach for effective, data-informed decision making and performance improvement
  • Manage sales territories and prioritise opportunities to maximise market coverage
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline visibility
  • Apply sales methodologies and best practices to complex deals
  • Contribute to a high-performing, accountable team culture

Key requirements

  • Experience leading B2B SaaS sales teams
  • Ability to coach sales professionals through complex opportunities
  • Strong data-driven decision making and forecasting skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Experience with sales qualifications frameworks (MEDDPICC, CHAMP)
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment and process improvement mindset
  • Interest in charity and not-for-profit sector leveraging technology
