Head of Commercial Property Management

Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 + bonus/commission

An established independent property consultancy is looking to appoint a Head of Commercial Property Management to take ownership of a substantial commercial portfolio across South West London.
The business manages approximately 140-150 commercial properties and 200+ leases, predominantly for private investors and HNW clients. The portfolio covers retail, offices, industrial and other specialist commercial assets.
This is a senior, hands-on role with plenty of autonomy. Alongside the day-to-day management of the portfolio, you will have the opportunity to review how it is structured, improve efficiencies and identify additional fee opportunities from the existing client base.
The role
- Take ownership of a substantial commercial property portfolio
- Manage key client and occupier relationships
- Oversee service charges, budgets and portfolio performance
- Handle lease events, rent reviews and L&T matters depending on experience
- Identify additional fee opportunities from existing clients
- Ensure client requests and actions are followed through quickly and effectively
- Work closely with the accounts, administration and wider surveying teams
- Help improve systems and make effective use of property technology and AI

- MRICS qualified
- Strong Commercial Property Management experience
- Proactive, responsive and comfortable working autonomously
- Able to manage a high-volume portfolio and multiple private clients
- Strong client-facing and relationship-management skills
- Good service charge and commercial lease knowledge
- L&T / rent review experience advantageous
- Comfortable embracing technology and new ways of working
- Driving licence and access to a car
Package
£65,000 – £75,000 base salary, depending on experience, with a strong bonus/commission scheme
