Managing Consultant – FS – Data Science and AI

Overview

As a Data Science Managing Consultant in our Financial Services practice, you will shape and launch data-driven propositions, lead high-impact programs, and grow client partnerships. You will work with cross-functional teams to turn data strategy into tangible solutions, coaching teammates and driving thought leadership. This role combines leadership, business development, and advanced analytics to help FS clients become insight-driven and AI-enabled. You will join a collaborative community that values excellence, curiosity, and inclusive growth. Your work will influence how clients transform and scale their data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Shape and launch new data science propositions and drive strategic growth across data strategy, governance, engineering, analytics and AI
• Lead business development, build trusted client relationships, own outcomes, and deliver high-impact solutions
• Help clients structure thinking to identify requirements, challenges and opportunities in data/analytics
• Coach and develop the team, promoting knowledge-sharing and growth opportunities
• Contribute to thought leadership and market offerings in digital and data innovation in financial services

Key requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data, analytics and AI consulting, strategy and/or transformation
• Established network of senior FS stakeholders with ability to build long-term partnerships
• Strong leadership experience managing teams and delivering complex programs
• Commercial acumen with track record of developing and selling consulting propositions
• Deep understanding of Financial Services technology landscapes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with senior-level influence
