Senior Risk Manager

Overview

In this role you will shape the Product Approval Process and provide independent guidance on product design, performance and strategic fit. You will lead risk reviews across underwriting, pricing and portfolios, challenging senior stakeholders to support key decisions. You’ll contribute to enterprise-wide risk management, governance and strategic planning, and drive Stress and Scenario Testing while maintaining the Insurance Risk Management Framework. This position leverages UK General Insurance experience to influence leadership and landscape risk decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the Product Approval Process
• Provide independent opinions and advise senior stakeholders on product design, performance and strategic alignment
• Conduct independent risk reviews across underwriting strategies, pricing models and portfolios with effective challenge
• Contribute to enterprise-wide risk management, strategic planning and governance
• Lead the Stress and Scenario Testing process
• Maintain the Insurance Risk Management Framework
• Oversee reinsurance mitigation and non-investment credit risk management

Key requirements
