Overview

As Production Zone Manager, you will lead a production area to ensure products meet quality and production targets within food safety standards. You will work closely with operations teams to optimise throughput, equipment reliability, and labour deployment while upholding a safe, compliant working environment. The role focuses on continuous improvement, delivering on plan, and developing the capability of team members. Responsibilities

  • Deliver productivity and efficiency against the production plan within your zone
  • Monitor raw materials, processes, and environment to ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Optimize labour deployment to align with production needs
  • Communicate progress to the operations team and flag risks to volumes or standards
  • Assess machinery performance using OEE to ensure reliability
  • Promote Health, Safety and Environment culture and investigate incidents with corrective actions
  • Analyze operational trends and drive sustainable improvements in quality, performance, and profitability
  • Oversee team capability and development to maximise potential
  • Contribute to customer and technical process reviews to improve production quality and consistency

Key requirements

  • Experience managing diverse teams in a complex manufacturing environment
  • HACCP level 2 qualification
