Overview

In this role you contribute to Mastercard’s Technology Risk Management program by executing risk activities across critical tech services. You will assess, monitor, and report technology risks, strengthening operational resilience and enabling risk-based decision making. You’ll work with technology, security, and business stakeholders to gather data, document controls, and drive remediation. This position offers growth in a global tech environment and a hook into shaping risk management practices for a leading payments company.

Responsibilities

  • Support technology risk management activities across critical services, platforms, and processes
  • Identify, document, monitor technology risks and remediation actions
  • Perform risk and issue analysis to support oversight and reporting
  • Contribute to technology risk assessments with data gathering and stakeholder engagement
  • Develop and maintain risk management methodologies, standards, and practices
  • Analyze risk information and KRIs to spot trends and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and materials for leadership and governance forums
  • Collaborate with technology, security, and business stakeholders to support risk-based decisions
  • Contribute to cross-functional analyses to improve risk visibility and effectiveness
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and evidence for risk assessments and governance
  • Participate in continuous improvement of risk processes and reporting capabilities
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and on time per policies and procedures

Key requirements

  • Experience in technology risk management, operational risk, cybersecurity, information security, governance, audit, or related field
  • Knowledge of technology environments, cloud, cybersecurity concepts, and risk management principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with actionable recommendations
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Effective written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Experience supporting risk assessments, issue management, or governance activities (preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship-building
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; English proficiency
