Doncaster (DN3) | £28,000-£32,000 DOE | Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm | Career Development | Wellness Programme

Are you an organised HR professional looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-focused HR Assistant to join a busy and supportive HR team in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity to become involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, developing your HR knowledge while building a rewarding long-term career within a well-established organisation.

Working closely with the HR team and managers across the business, you will play a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly while helping to deliver a positive employee experience.

HR Assistant Responsibilities

  • Supporting end-to-end recruitment activities, including arranging interviews, onboarding and employment documentation.
  • Coordinating employee inductions and maintaining accurate personnel records.
  • Inputting and updating employee information within the HR system.
  • Assisting with the delivery and administration of internal training programmes.
  • Producing employee correspondence and HR documentation.
  • Monitoring attendance records and providing support with absence management processes.
  • Assisting with investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures, including liaising with employees and managers.
  • Preparing reports and maintaining accurate HR records in line with company procedures.
  • Providing general administrative support to the HR department.

What We’re Looking For

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards it would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience within an HR Administration or HR Assistant role.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently in a busy environment.
  • A willingness to learn and develop within a professional HR function.
