Overview
In this role, you own the full prudential regulatory reporting lifecycle, focusing on capital adequacy and liquidity. You will drive accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while enhancing reporting infrastructure through data integration and system enhancements. You will collaborate across Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and IT, translating regulatory changes into practical reporting solutions. You provide strategic insights to support decision making and assess financial implications of initiatives. Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end regulatory reporting lifecycle for capital and liquidity
- Review and explain variances and trends in reports with management commentary
- Monitor regulatory changes and translate updates into data and system solutions
- Coordinate across Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and IT to align data sources with requirements
- Partner with external software providers and Data Engineering/Analytics to improve reporting platforms
- Oversee data mapping and ETL processes ensuring accuracy, scalability, and fit-for-purpose data
- Lead reporting infrastructure projects and manage testing (UAT) and deployments
- Develop documentation on data dictionaries, workflows, and procedures
- Design controls to mitigate reporting risks
Key requirements
- Experience in prudential regulatory reporting within FCA-regulated (MIFIDPRU) or PRA-regulated institutions with direct team management
- Deep knowledge of prudential regulations (CRR, MIFIDPRU) and treasury functions with hands-on capital and liquidity reporting
- Extensive project management and systems experience with reporting system enhancements, vendor implementations, data mapping, ETL, and UAT
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex datasets and actionable insights
- Effective communication and stakeholder management to explain regulatory nuances to non-technical audiences
- Professional accounting or finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) highly desirable
