Regulatory Reporting Operations Senior Professional

Overview

In this role, you will support the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the Bank’s regulatory transaction reporting across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll work within the Remediation team to drive improvements through root cause analysis, governance, and process optimisation. You will assess complex, aged reporting breaches to determine viable remediation paths and ensure all options are explored before closure. You’ll also contribute to MI, documentation, training content, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen reporting operations. This is a chance to shape how reporting risks are managed in a major global bank and to collaborate with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of transactional regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions
• Lead remediation assessment, root cause analysis, and governance for reporting breaches
• Produce management information, procedural and training documentation, and drive continuous improvement
• Evaluate multi-layered breaches to identify viable remediation options and closure readiness
• Support cross-functional stakeholders with reporting projects and remediation activities

Key requirements

• Understanding of the regulatory trade and transaction reporting landscape
• Familiar with EMIR, MIFID, SFTR, CFTC and related regulations
• Willingness to stay current with evolving regulatory reporting requirements
• Experience remediating transaction reporting issues including back-reporting
• Knowledge of trade flow components and how trades are booked, cleared, captured, and reported
• Experience with transaction reporting systems and their interactions
• Business analysis and project management experience
• Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience in Banking MO, Operations or related functions
• Product knowledge related to transaction reporting operations (where applicable)
