Overview

In this role, you will lead a diverse corporate tax portfolio, delivering compliance and advisory services for UK and international clients in the film, TV, and video game sectors. You will work within the London Corporate Tax team to manage engagements, mentor junior staff, and identify opportunities to broaden services. You will apply specialist knowledge to optimise tax reliefs and strategic structures for productions. This is a client-facing role with exposure to major Hollywood studios, networks, and developers, offering scope to grow quickly within a fast‑growing tax group. You will be supported by a collaborative firm culture focused on excellence and potential.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee delivery of tax reporting and compliance engagements, including tax accounting, across the client portfolio
  • Conduct detailed technical research and review analyses for clients and other teams
  • Identify business opportunities through advisory projects and expanding services
  • Mentor junior team members and review their work
  • Advise on creative sector reliefs and structuring productions to maximise benefits
  • Provide guidance on various technical areas (as experience allows) such as international tax, capital allowances, R&D relief, transfer pricing, restructuring, and Corporate Interest Restriction

Key requirements

  • CTA/ACA (or equivalent) with relevant experience
  • Proven track record of leading engagements with corporate clients
  • Team-oriented, flexible, with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Self-motivated, commercially minded, and credible at all levels
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to organise and deliver tax work using initiative
