Overview

In this Senior Risk Manager role you oversee risk for Prime Services and XVA, ensuring exposures stay within risk appetite. You will collaborate with Trading, Sales, In-Business Risk, and Credit Officers in a fast-paced environment to review and approve risk limits where required. You bring substantial market risk experience and counterparty risk awareness to govern risk governance forums and onboarding of new products. Responsibilities

  • Engage stakeholders across business, risk, finance, legal and compliance to communicate product risks and risk management
  • Monitor Prime Services and XVA risk through daily limits and stress testing to stay within risk appetite
  • Review daily limit excesses and new business requests for timely action
  • Prepare risk analyses and write-ups for weekly/monthly governance forums for senior management
  • Participate in onboarding and testing of new products/services with risk limits established with business
  • Lead by example and embody company values in risk management
  • Monitor and ensure risk exposures remain within agreed appetite for Prime Services and XVA
  • Assess and escalate material risk issues and participate in risk limit framework design and approval
  • Ensure risk identification, measurement, reporting, and modelling capabilities are compliant with regulations
  • Report material exposures and issues to TRM Head, Prime Services and XVA, and committees

Key requirements

  • 7–8+ years of market risk experience covering securities and financial derivatives
  • Experience in Counterparty credit risk is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantitative Discipline
  • FRM or CFA certifications
