Senior Buyer

Overview

In this role you will execute complex procurement activities for high-value components, focusing on cost, quality and delivery objectives. You will work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to plan, source, negotiate and manage orders through ERP systems. You drive supplier performance and continuous improvement while maintaining strong relationships to resolve issues. You will help shape our supply chain for engineered products in a collaborative, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier order books and coordinate with stakeholders to meet deadlines
• Plan and execute component procurement using ERP to interpret demand
• Raise RFQs, assess quotations, and negotiate pricing, lead times and terms
• Provide delivery updates and maintain internal communications
• Drive continuous improvement across suppliers (pricing, delivery performance)
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve invoice/goods discrepancies

Key requirements

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiations and supplier management
• Proficiency with ERP systems
• Demonstrated negotiation experience with measurable cost savings or value creation
• Experience supporting complex programs or engineered products
