Overview
In this Group Buyer role within Central Procurement, you will manage indirect procurement for Corporate and Professional Services, delivering category plans and end-to-end sourcing. You’ll build strong stakeholder relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement supplier relationship management to meet service levels and sustainability goals. You’ll work with the Procurement Sustainability team to drive initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance, contributing to the Build to Last strategy. This is a hands-on role for someone who can lead multiple sourcing projects with data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities
- Build and manage category plans with stakeholder involvement
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities via the eProcurement system
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
- Implement contract and supplier relationship management with governance and metrics
- Monitor compliance with legal/regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Collaborate with Procurement Sustainability team to drive sustainability initiatives
Key requirements
- CIPS Level 4 qualified and studying towards CIPS Level 5 and 6 or equivalent
- 3+ years in procurement and supply chain management
- Experience in end-to-end tenders and sourcing projects
- Experience negotiating commercial and contractual terms
- Ability to develop positive stakeholder relationships and apply SRM skills
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software tools
- Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain, Business, Economics or related field is preferred
