Claims Operations Analyst

Overview

In this role you will own ECF reporting and MI development for a global insurer, partnering with DXC to deliver dashboards and performance insights. You’ll turn diverse data into high-level analyses that inform claims decisions and board-level discussions. The position offers rapid career development as the team scales and improves data integrity across the claims function. Your work will shape reporting quality, audits, and system enhancements in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the relationship with DXC and manage all ECF reporting
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly MI reports and dashboards
• Analyze claims performance for internal handlers
• Consolidate data into high-level analyses via Power BI dashboards (training available)
• Compile data from multiple teams for committee/board management packs
• Run reports from internal claims systems and assemble MI packs/dashboards
• Identify data issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose data quality improvements
• Drive data integrity across claims for performance packs and dashboards
• Support internal/external audits of UK claims
• Assist in internal system changes/enhancements and system project support
• Support peer review reporting and results distribution
• Ensure timely and accurate quarterly reserve entries
• Run daily movement reports
• Maintain accuracy of SharePoint logs/trackers
• Provide analysis of individuals/teams’ performance through ECF
• Manage internal claims dashboards

Key requirements

• Strong knowledge of ECF and related MI and reporting
• Experience with data extraction and reporting processes
• Ability to absorb multiple data streams for high-level analysis
• Familiarity with dashboards and data visualization tools (Power BI)
• Experience with internal audits and data governance in claims
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners (DXC)
• Attention to data integrity and accuracy in performance reporting
• Experience with SharePoint and internal systems for log/tracker management
