Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
- Advising on technology, software licensing and SaaS arrangements
- Supporting clients on data protection and information governance matters, including data sharing and processing agreements
- Advising on commercialisation, licensing and collaboration arrangements
- Providing strategic advice to clients in regulated sectors (healthcare, life sciences, technology)
- Supporting privacy, information law and regulatory compliance matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while managing matters with increasing autonomy
- Playing an active role in business development, networking and profile-raising initiatives
Key requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Experience handling commercial contracts and advisory matters
- Exposure to technology, data protection, IP or regulatory work advantageous
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet client deadlines
