Pay Rates:

• Days: £12.71 per hour
• Afters: £13.33 per hour
• Nights: £14.58 per hour

Hours:

• Days: 6:00am – 2:30pm
• Afters: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
• Nights: 10:00pm – 6:30am

Monday to Friday

Overtime Available at Weekends

General Operatives Required

Ambitions Personnel are recruiting for General Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company based in the Kirkby-in-Ashfield area.

This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity, offering a permanent contract after a successful 12-week period. The role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands‑on work within a manufacturing environment and are looking for long-term career prospects.

The Role

Working within a busy production environment, your duties will include:

• Preparing products for the galvanising process
• Handling and processing metal products through zinc treatment tanks
• Loading and unloading products safely
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Assisting with production processes and machinery operation
• Moving materials around the production area
• Following work instructions and production schedules
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Previous manufacturing, production or industrial experience is desirable
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexible to work day, afternoon or night shifts
