Sports coach (SEN)

Overview

As a Sports Coach moving into education, you’ll design and deliver an engaging PE curriculum for pupils with diverse SEN needs. You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to help every pupil thrive and promote healthy, collaborative learning through sport. This role offers ongoing development, including progression into teaching, while you contribute to an inclusive school culture. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values energy, enthusiasm and positive behavior management.

• Plan and deliver creative PE lessons across the school

Key requirements

• Experience coaching sport or leading physical activities
• Previous SEN experience (essential)
• Confident in positive, supportive behavior management
• Enthusiasm, patience and high energy in lessons
• Appropriate qualifications and training for the role
