Audit Manager or Senior Manager – London

Overview

In this role you will manage a diverse client portfolio within a leading chartered accountancy practice. You will drive efficient audits, identify opportunities for existing clients, and support business development through networking. You’ll guide all audit stages and advise on financial reporting issues, leveraging IFRS and FRS 102 knowledge. The position offers impact through proactive issue resolution and collaboration with specialists to deliver high-quality opinions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of clients to ensure timely delivery
• Identify opportunities within existing clients and support new business initiatives
• Attend and organise network events to foster client relationships
• Oversee all stages of the audit and advise the partner on the audit opinion
• Anticipate accounting issues and propose practical solutions
• Advise clients on financial reporting matters, coordinating with specialists as needed

Key requirements

• ACCA or ACA or equivalent professional qualification
• Detailed knowledge of IFRS; FRS 102 preferred
• Proven external auditing experience with 2–3 years post-qualification
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients
