Managing Building Surveyor

Overview

As a Senior/Associate Building Surveyor, you will support the Regional Director as No.2, supervising a small specialist team and handling a substantial client base. You will deliver high-value projects and professional services across commercial sectors, including healthcare, education, retail, offices and industrial. You will drive client relationships, win new work, and oversee project delivery with autonomy in a major consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a small team of surveyors
• Manage a large client base and deliver projects
• Drive business development and secure new work
• Deliver project management, professional services, and specialist tasks (dilapidations, party walls, valuations)
• Operate with autonomy under the Regional Director and contribute to strategic client growth

Key requirements

• MRICS or FRICS
• proven track record in delivering projects and professional services in commercial property environments
