Overview

In this role you support the delivery of project objectives within the project plan, working alongside the project team to meet time, cost and quality targets. You will monitor health, safety and wellbeing on site, assist with project plans and change tracking, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure quality and risk controls are in place. You contribute to knowledge sharing, handover preparation, and live project reporting, while supporting a transition towards sustainable, net zero practices. This is a collaborative role within a market-leading construction consultancy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in delivering project objectives in line with the Project Plan
  • Monitor health, safety and wellbeing standards across all stages
  • Prepare and update project plans as the project evolves
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure robust quality systems
  • Attend meetings and provide context and analysis, including site walks
  • Support risk management and mitigation activities
  • Track project changes and formalise within timelines
  • Assist with handover documentation prior to practical completion
  • Understand business priorities across Construction to Production, Digital and Data
  • Support external client appointments and project management activities
  • Conduct research and analysis to provide timely information for delivery
  • Identify solutions to defined problems and contribute to project outcomes
  • Contribute to net zero carbon transition by proactively identifying and managing emissions reduction

Key requirements

  • MCIOB/MAPM/MRICS (or working towards) or local equivalent
  • Tertiary qualifications in related project management and/or construction discipline, or equivalent professional experience
