Senior BMS Project Specialist – Honeywell Multisite Europe

Overview

As Senior Project Manager, you lead BMS projects for retailers, often >$250K, coordinating internal teams and subcontractors across Europe. You drive on-time delivery, financial performance, and safe, compliant execution while maintaining customer satisfaction. You’ll balance administrative tasks, scheduling, cost forecasting, and handover while shaping remote, fast-track deployments. This role connects with Honeywell’s mission to cut energy costs and enable sustainable building operations. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful energy management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project delivery within scope and timelines
• Track project progress and identify improvement opportunities
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and resolve issues
• Monitor financials (estimates, actuals, billing, unbilled) on a monthly basis
• Lead internal and on-site subcontracting meetings and maintain stakeholder communication
• Develop partnerships with subcontractors to secure resources
• Promote safe and healthy work environment through training and facilities improvements
• Travel 5–10% as required
• Coordinate site engineering, task management and project planning for assigned activities
• Oversee subcontractor quality management, progress tracking and payment applications
• Oversee billing and payments processes and hands-on project handover
• Provide support and direction to project technicians and subcontractors

Key requirements

• 3+ years of project management experience in building automation (BMS) or retail construction
• Engineering or Management degree
• Strong knowledge of project operations and financial processes
• Experience with Microsoft Project or similar tools
• Proven ability to lead a team
• English language proficiency
• Category B driving license
• PMI PMP, PRINCE2 or CAPM certifications are a plus
• SAP knowledge is a plus
