Overview

In this role, you will design and validate security architectures for enterprise-scale programs across cloud and on-premises environments. You’ll translate threat landscapes and regulatory obligations into practical solutions, guiding delivery teams from early threat modelling to design reviews. You will champion secure-by-design decisions and embed security thinking throughout delivery, working with government, financial services, and private sector clients. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position at a values-led, growth-focused tech consultancy.

Responsibilities

  • Design and validate security architectures for enterprise-scale programs across cloud platforms, application security, IAM, and system integration
  • Translate threat landscapes and compliance obligations into pragmatic security options and architectures
  • Lead threat modelling, security options analysis, and design sessions with delivery teams
  • Present security recommendations to architecture review boards and senior stakeholders
  • Define zero-trust approaches for government or enterprise environments and guide secure-by-design decisions
  • Upskill and embed security thinking within delivery teams to improve security literacy without slowing delivery

Key requirements

  • Designed and validated security architectures for enterprise-scale programs
  • Experience securing workloads on AWS and/or Azure (network segmentation, IAM, encryption, secrets management, monitoring)
  • Knowledge of AppSec practices (secure SDLC, SAST/DAST, API security, container security) in agile delivery
  • Experience working with clients and senior stakeholders to assess risk and build consensus on security approaches
