Manager, Business Process Solutions (BPS)

Overview

In this senior, client-facing role within Deloitte’s BPS Finance team, you advise multinational clients on finance operations, reporting and transformation. You’ll lead international delivery teams, embed automation, and shape scalable outsourcing solutions. You’ll work with senior stakeholders to improve processes, controls and financial reporting, contributing to a growth-focused, technology-enabled finance practice.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders across locations and time zones, supporting day-to-day finance delivery and service quality
• Oversee accounting, management and statutory reporting, including technical discussions on IFRS, UK GAAP or US GAAP
• Manage service delivery governance: SLAs, KPIs, quality standards and client expectations
• Lead UK-based and delivery centre teams, defining roles and standard operating procedures
• Identify opportunities to standardise, automate and improve finance processes using finance tech and AI
• Support business planning, team development and wider strategic objectives of the BPS Finance practice

Key requirements

• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Strong experience in financial accounting, management & statutory reporting (IFRS, US GAAP, etc.)
• Experience delivering finance operations, outsourcing, co-sourcing or complex transformation projects
• Client-facing experience with credibility with senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead teams across locations, including hybrid and delivery centres
• Strong delivery discipline: SLAs/KPIs, project planning, risk management and contract awareness
• Continuous improvement mindset with interest in automation and finance technology
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
