Overview

As a Global Financial Controls & Compliance Process Experts Senior Manager, you will shape a cross-process SME role to strengthen global controls design and enablement. You’ll collaborate with process owners, IT controls teams and external auditors to harmonize controls and advance a digital, system-enabled environment, including S/4HANA-driven transformation. You drive cross-functional coordination, knowledge sharing and best-practice adoption, reducing silos and improving control design and monitoring. Responsibilities

  • Define scope and ways of working for a new cross-process SME role within Global Financial Controls & Compliance
  • Foster collaboration and best-practice adoption across process SME teams
  • Coordinate with Global Process Owners, FC& C Operations, Group Methodology, IT controls teams and external auditors on control design and remediation
  • Lead cross-process project management and ensure priorities and actions are clearly managed
  • Strengthen IT application controls capability and advocate for system-enabled controls and automated workflows
  • Contribute to the evolution of the control environment amid S/4HANA/Lean Digital Core transformation
  • Identify opportunities to harmonize and simplify global controls processes and enable digital monitoring

Key requirements

  • 10+ years in finance controls, internal controls, risk, audit, compliance or related areas in a global, matrixed organization
  • Strong understanding of ICFR, SOX/SOX 404 requirements, control design and testing environments
  • Experience with IT application controls, automated controls, system workflows, segregation of duties, or finance systems control environments
  • Proven ability to work cross-process, diagnose gaps and translate requirements into pragmatic ways of working
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building across Finance, Digital/IT, audit, methodology and operations teams
  • Strong project management, coordination and change management capabilities with a track record of delivering priorities
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional European language
