Lining Operative

About The Role

Sapphire Utility Solutions is seeking a Lining Operative to join the team and grow and progress their career in the utilities sector.

Location: Leyland

Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am‑5pm.

Salary: Up to £13.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities – But Not Limited To

• Work on the back of cutting unit, assisting and learning how to use and maintain the cutting unit.
• Work with patching and lining teams to pick up various repair methods and eventually run a van across all contracts (training will be provided).
• Set up traffic management (training will be provided).
• Confined spaces entry (training will be provided).
• Conduct risk assessments and update work packs.
• Be flexible, picking up overtime when required and occasional weekend work.

Experience and Qualifications Desired / Required

• Flexible working approach.
• Ability to cover long distances by foot.
• Desire to progress within the company.
• Knowledge of utilities and traffic management (not essential).
• Full UK driving licence, no more than 6 points.
