International Regulatory Reporting Accountant

Overview

In this role you will own regulatory returns across UK and European entities and contribute to Solvency II reporting. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, shaping data flows and controls for regulatory reporting. You will partner with regulators, auditors, and internal teams to improve processes and support governance in a growing insurance/reinsurance business in London.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit regulatory returns accurately and on time
• Support Solvency II, SFCR and RSR reporting
• Perform reconciliations, validation checks and analytical reviews
• Maintain reporting timetables and coordinate stakeholder inputs
• Support improvements to regulatory reporting systems, data flows and controls
• Liaise with internal teams, regulators, auditors and external advisers

Key requirements

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
• 2–3 years’ post-qualified experience within insurance/reinsurance
• Experience of regulatory reporting, preferably including Solvency II
• Strong Excel, analytical and reconciliation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
