International Finance Manager – 26305D

Overview

In this role you will lead UK and Czech Republic accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across jurisdictions. You will partner with US teams to align budgeting, forecasting, and system integrations, while strengthening internal controls and coordinating with external auditors. You help drive tax, treasury, and transfer pricing initiatives and oversee staff development. This is a hands-on, globally connected role at a growing energy tech company with a mission to make energy affordable and sustainable.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close and financial reporting to US Corporate office
• Ensure US GAAP and local statutory GAAP compliance with external auditors
• Coordinate tax compliance and intercompany transfer pricing initiatives
• Oversee treasury operations including local banking
• Partner with US FP&A for budget, forecast, and analysis
• Lead integration of acquisitions and system implementations
• Improve internal controls and maintain accounting policies/procedures
• Oversee staff training and performance oversight

Key requirements

• 10+ years in international accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance
• Bachelor in Accounting; Master and CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and Czech Republic GAAP
• Experience with Sage Intacct and other ERP/statutory reporting systems
• Public company background or pre-IPO exposure
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across jurisdictions
• Detail-oriented with big-picture perspective
