Senior Implementation Manager – Finance Systems

Overview

As Senior Implementation Manager in Wise’s Finance Product team, you will architect and deliver scalable financial systems that underpin global operations. You’ll partner with finance, product, and engineering to translate business needs into compliant, well-documented integrations. The role blends financial acumen with technical leadership to support accurate, timely reporting across Wise’s entities. You’ll drive autonomy, cross-team collaboration, and a high‑impact implementation program that enables borderless money on a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end system integration from scoping to post-production, delivering data-driven projects in fast-paced environments
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Engineering to ensure compliant financials and proper recording of financial events
• Plan, document requirements and project plans, allocate resources, and oversee testing and delivery
• Communicate complex financial concepts to engineers and stakeholders across the organisation
• Coordinate with Accounting, Tax, Reporting and FP&A teams to ensure accurate financials across entities worldwide
• Provide clear documentation and artefacts (requirements, plans, tests, delivery) to support ongoing operations
• Foster autonomous execution by guiding the team to define vision and secure feedback from Wise stakeholders
• Support a high-volume, real-time financial implementation system and contribute to financial sustainability

Key requirements

• Experience with ERP systems is a must
• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including financial system integrations
• Background in business process servicing (invoices, payments)
• Proven system integration experience with internal and external systems for timely financial reporting
• Strong end-to-end project management skills in fast-paced environments
• Lean mindset with a focus on process optimization in integrated financial systems
• Solid finance knowledge enabling effective collaboration with Finance teams
• Excellent communication to align diverse stakeholders and drive clarity on complex problems
