In this role you will architect and optimise Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Order Management to support Heathrow’s retail and service operations. You will define standards, govern integrations, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, high-performing platforms that enhance the customer journey. You’ll partner with business and technical teams to shape solutions that align with enterprise goals and sustainability ambitions. Responsibilities

• Design and govern Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Order Management architecture aligned with enterprise standards
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions
• Lead technical design sessions and mentor development teams on best practices and integration patterns
• Define architectural documentation (data models, integration diagrams, security frameworks)
• Evaluate new Salesforce features and third-party tools to drive business value
• Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and performance standards across Salesforce implementations

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect with expertise in Commerce Cloud and Order Management
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, integration patterns, and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with API design, data modelling, and system integrations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to lead technical discussions and influence decision-making at senior levels
• Desirable: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or equivalent advanced certifications
• Experience in large-scale retail or e-commerce environments
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce
