Overview
In this role you will support clients across transport, renewable energy and complex infrastructure with commercial and feasibility analysis. You will develop financial and commercial models to inform investment and policy decisions, and present findings clearly to clients and senior stakeholders. You’ll collaborate with a large, global team to win work on complex transactions and innovative policy initiatives. A key focus is translating engineering concepts into robust model inputs, contributing to sustainable, low-carbon projects.

Responsibilities
- Advise clients on commercial, market analysis and feasibility in transport, renewable energy and infrastructure
- Lead development of financial and commercial models for business plans, market studies, and due diligence
- Present analyses in client meetings and public-facing reports with clear communication of complex issues
- Support proposals and help win work in new areas on complex transactions and policy development
- Leverage internal experts to translate engineering concepts into robust models and solutions
- Occasional overseas travel for project kick-offs, site visits and presentations
- Support continual professional development including Chartered Management Consultant status
Key requirements
- Self-starting approach
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information
- Degree level education in economics, engineering or similarly quantitative subject
- Experience with large datasets and programming languages such as Python or R and visualization tools like Power BI (desirable)
- Interest or experience in transport, renewable energy and infrastructure investment
- Track record of financial and analytical models for net zero, transport or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of scenario analysis or Monte Carlo analysis (desirable)
- Experience in a leading consultancy or professional services firm
- Ability to deliver workstreams to tight deadlines
- Strong English communication skills; other languages desirable
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel modelling
