Overview
As Mechanical Design Manager, you will lead design delivery for hyperscale data centres and major MEP projects across the UK and Europe. You work within a global engineering team to coordinate HVAC, cooling, piping and mechanical systems, ensuring on-time, within-budget outcomes. You will drive design innovation and digital adoption (Revit/BIM) while collaborating across disciplines to ensure alignment and compliance. This remote-friendly role offers impactful work on critical infrastructure with occasional travel to client or project sites.

Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design for hyperscale data centres and large MEP projects

- Manage project budgets, schedules, and design deliverables
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure alignment and compliance
- Drive design innovation, efficiency, and digital adoption (Revit/BIM)
Key requirements
- Degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering
- 10+ years’ design experience in data centre or mission-critical sectors
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams
- Chartered or senior-level engineer
