IBA Account Manager

Overview

In this role you will manage IBA ledgers for Clients and Underwriting, ensuring timely settlement and collection of funds with clients and overseas offices. You will support month-end processes, data accuracy, and data updates across affiliated offices, while safeguarding reconciliation of syndicate funds. The role requires strong communication and deep knowledge of Lloyd’s market practices to coordinate settlements and data modifications with technical teams. This is a hands-on position with global scope that impacts financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage IBA ledgers for Client & Underwriting and ensure timely settlement/collection with customers and overseas offices
• Assist Overseas offices in collection and settlement of funds to/from clients
• Oversee settlement and collection of funds to/from syndicate and reconciliation of syndicate funds
• Handle claim settlements paid to brokers and reconcile syndicate funds
• Modify reference data in Enterprise Accounts (EA) accurately
• Ensure month-end processes run as planned and validate data accuracy and report generation
• Liaise with affiliated offices to update records as required
• Ensure processed data modified by the technical team is completed as required
• Maintain clear and concise communication with stakeholders

Key requirements

• IBA reconciliation experience essential
• Good knowledge of Insurance in the Lloyds Market
• Understanding of Slips, Endorsements and Closings
• Understanding of premium calculation from broker documentation
• Experience with data modification in accounting systems like Enterprise Accounts (EA)
• Experience with month-end close processes
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of cross-border settlements and client fund handling
