AI Transformation & Process Excellence Manager

Overview

As AX Design lead, you shape future-state processes at the intersection of people, agents, and process to drive transformation. You embed AI into designs, shaping agent experiences and handoffs to balance business outcomes with people impact. You run discovery workshops, defend recommendations to senior leadership, and guide operating-model changes and adoption plans. You contribute to playbooks, benchmarks, and proposals, mentoring juniors along the way. You’ll work across industries to deliver practical, credible transformations.

Responsibilities

• Design future-state processes with AI integration and operating-model changes
• Lead client discovery workshops and present to senior leadership
• Conduct benchmarking analyses and change-impact assessments
• Facilitate design thinking sessions and co-creation with cross-functional teams
• Define AI agent experiences within process steps, including autonomy, escalation, and handoffs
• Develop and maintain redesign methods and playbooks
• Support business development, proposals, and RFP responses
• Coach junior practitioners on process redesign and AI design principles

Key requirements

• Experience in process excellence, redesign, or management consulting
• Ability to lead client discovery workshops and present to senior leadership
• Proven track record in benchmarking analyses and change-impact assessments
• Experience using AI-assisted tools for benchmarking, analytics, or workshops
• Experience designing future-state processes with AI and operating-model changes
• Previously integrated AI and automated business process design
• Deep domain expertise in at least one industry (e.g., Banking, Insurance, Software, Health, etc.)
• Applied knowledge of AI Design principles (agent autonomy, escalation, handoffs)
