Manager, Process Excellence

Overview

As Manager, Process Excellence, you will lead global process governance for clinical supply systems to ensure compliant, efficient, and standardized operations. You partner with Quality, IT, Operations and sites to harmonize processes and drive continuous improvement. You will own system lifecycle activities, from requirements to validation and deployment, and enable cross-functional transformation and training. This role offers the chance to shape how clinical supply systems scale across sites and improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain global SOPs, work instructions, forms and process documentation for CSS operations
• Act as business owner for key clinical supply systems, managing requirements, enhancements and user support
• Gather, document and approve User/Functional Requirements for changes and new functionality
• Coordinate and support system testing, including UAT and deployment readiness
• Provide guidance and troubleshooting to site SMEs on process execution and system functionality
• Deliver training, onboarding and communications on new processes and releases
• Monitor process performance metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with Quality, IT, Operations and site teams to drive harmonization, change control, compliance and operational excellence

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, operations, supply chain or related field
• Proven experience in clinical supply, GMP operations, process excellence or business systems
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, Computer System Validation, SOP authorship and system lifecycle
• Experience with system testing, UAT coordination and requirement documentation
• Strong analytical and process-mapping skills; ability to simplify complex workflows
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across global functions and sites
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Leadership experience at Catalent may substitute external experience
