As a Cost Management Specialist in our Edinburgh team, you help ensure projects stay on budget and deliver expected outcomes across infrastructure sectors. You will work in a cross-functional environment with clients and contractors to monitor costs, forecast needs, and manage change. The role focuses on governance, value engineering, and solid commercial support to enable project success. You’ll develop your operational and technical skills through diverse, industry-leading projects and structured progression. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and project teams
- Administer contracts in line with project objectives and policies
- Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion
- Monitor cost variances and contract cash flow; ensure timely applications
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams to deliver deliverables, KPIs and objectives
- Manage contract changes to keep projects within governance and best practices
- Improve forecast accuracy and budgeting processes
- Provide commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders
- Negotiate final accounts
- Lead people and commissions as needed
