Overview

In this role, you will lead technology procurement for EY’s Global Procurement function, shaping sourcing strategy and delivering value across AI, software, and professional services. You will manage a large, global team and collaborate with cross-functional partners to secure best-in-class deals and drive AI-related initiatives. The position combines strategic category management with hands-on negotiation to support EY’s technology platforms and platforms like Fabric and Global Tax Platform. You will contribute to EY’s mission of building a better working world through technology leadership and supplier excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute technology procurement strategy across multiple service lines and business units
  • Manage global spend (~US$400m) and oversee 500+ projects with measurable savings
  • Lead a distributed team of 13 sourcing managers across several countries and allocate work
  • Negotiate complex contracts for AI, software licensing, cloud services and professional services
  • Advise on AI procurement strategy and support AI-related initiatives (AI Utility, Emerging Tech Big Bet)
  • Collaborate with EY Technology and other internal partners; onboard tech goods/services end-to-end
  • Socialize procurement policy, ensure adherence, and report progress and savings
  • Act as a strategic advisor to drive supplier relationships and value creation across Global Procurement
  • Support global strategies within Supply Chain Services and maintain stakeholder engagement
  • Represent procurement in AI and standards initiatives (Technology Standards Board, AI/Big Bet)

Key requirements

  • 10+ years in global technology sourcing or procurement leadership
  • Business degree or equivalent; CPM/CIPS welcomed but not essential
  • Strong track record negotiating IT contracts, licensing and cloud solutions
  • Experience managing global teams and senior stakeholder relationships
  • Knowledge of AI, emerging technologies and IT suppliers
